I'm a dork (and a crybaby)

I finally watched the last arc from Ren'ai Shindan (I know, how late am I...)
And it made me cry my eyes out
Not like a single tear, but full out drippy face, sniffling, cry baby crying ;_;
The ending threw me for a loop, really.
And Kawai and Kumai's acting really moved me to tears~
Why can't there ever be a happy ending? I mean, I knew from the beginning it wasn't going to end happily, but still!
