An Update....
Feb. 27th, 2007 09:27 pmIt's a bit shorter than the first chapter, and has little revision, but I'm (in my half-asleep state, and tired from drawing girls. Yes, girls. That's all I've been able to draw. More specifically, I've been drawing the Tenipuri boys as girls. Why, you may ask? Well...Um...It all started with a drawing of Shishido as Rapunzel, and THAT stemmed from going to see The Ashland University production of "Into the Woods." So, yeah...Um....I've only got Seigaku and Fudomine done, but St. Rudy should be started by Tomorrow.
ANYWAY! THAT is NOT what this post is about. *Ahem*
I present Gekokujou chapter 2!
Gekokujou 2/?
Rating- This chapter? PG for Gakuto's mouth, again.
Warning: Chair death, Atobe, Narcolepsy ^_^
Summary: Atobe sets plans in motion for Hiyoshi's future....Jiroh knows all...
Disclaimer: Don't own...If I did...at the moment...they would all be girls, and Shishido would be Rapunzel, and Jiroh would be Aurora, and Kamio would be Cinderella.....

Yuushi seriously wondered if he should have stopped Gakuto from reacting the way he did. That poor chair had never hurt Hiyoshi, and now it lays in shambles on the floor. Poor, little wooden chair.
The nurse had been writing down Hiyoshi's story, evidence for the police. Gakuto was still fuming, while Hiyoshi merely sat there, cold and calm. Inside, he was moved by Gakuto's violent reaction, but he didn't want anyone to know that. Yuushi finally got Gakuto to calm down and turned to his kohai. "Since you were six? You've been putting up with this since you were six?"
Hiyoshi nodded. "Yes, Senpai."
The door to the infirmary flew open, and Atobe stood in the doorway, for once, without Kabaji.
"Ore-sama demands an explanation. Now."
"Atobe, this is not the time. We need to report this."
"Report what?" Atobe asked. "All Ohtori told me was that Hiyoshi was injured. Ore-sama needs to know about anything that puts the well-being of my proteige in jeopardy."
"Proteige?" Hiyoshi and Gakuto questioned at the same time.
Atobe crossed his arms. "No time to explain that. I demand to know why Ohtori thinks you're dying."
Hiyoshi averted his eyes from Atobe. The last person he wanted to explain his shameful secret to was ATOBE. He wanted to
defeat, and rise above Atobe. He never wanted his pity. But he also didn't want to lie. Lying was weak. So he told his buchou everything.
Atobe listened calmly, and then whipped out his cell phone. He left the room, seemingly talking to one of his servants. Hiyoshi felt lost. He looked up at Oshitari for any hints as to what was happening, but the blue-haired Tensai just shrugged his shoulders.
"Hiyoshi-kun. I'm gong to call the police now." The nurse announced. "I apologize, but seeing as you are underage, and this is a crime, I have no choice."
Hiyoshi shook his head. "I understand, Sensei. Please, do so."
"Hiyoshi...do you want to stay at my house?" Gakuto asked. 'I'm sure my parents won't care..."
"Won't he be placed in the state's care?" Yuushi wondered.
Both Hiyoshi and Gakuto stared at him, their eyes wide. Hiyoshi didn't want to be taken away from the tennis club, nor did he want to be at the mercy of strangers. Gakuto, still conflicted with his budding feelings for the blond, didn't want the 2nd year to be taken away from HIM.
"We think not..." Atobe's voice spoke up as the captain walked back into the room. "Hiyoshi will be residing at our mansion for the time being."
"Atobe, I don't think that's-" Yuushi started scolding Atobe, but he was quickly cut off.
"It's already being taken care of. Hiyoshi is now sponsered by the Atobe family."
"You do realize that he probably WILL be taken into custody." Yuushi said, folding his arms across his chest.
"I don't think you realize how far and wide the Atobe family reach is. Oresama told you, it's being taken care of. Were you not listening?" The arrogant captain chuckled. "Really, I thought you knew better, Oshitari...I simply want to ensure the well-being of the person I deem worthy to take my place when I leave Hyotei Gakuen. I can't have him slacking off in his tennis training, even now..."
Hiyoshi sprung to his feet, illiciting shocked cries from Gakuto; "Hiyoshi, sit down! You're still weak!"
The blond next did something he never thought his pride would let him do. He was on his knees, bowing in the deepest respect.
"Atobe-Buchou....I thank you will all my being. The only think I can find solice in now is tennis. If that was taken away from me, I don't what I would do. Thank you..." Then the proud second year let himself cry, still bowing on the floor. Gakuto fell to his side, wrapping his arms around Hiyoshi, crying himself. Lost as to what to do, Oshitari embraced both of them, whispering reassurances to the both of them.
Atobe looked upon the scene, nodding softly to himself. This was the right thing to do. His parents allotted him many freedoms, so why not use some of them to help one of his own? Sure, Hiyoshi's whole life was surrounded around the philosophy of "gekokujou", and of overcoming Atobe himself, but the captain found himself honored that Hiyoshi thought that highly of him. His ambition was what attracted Atobe when searching for a successor.
"I'll leave you three alone for now. I'll inform you when the police arrive."
The only answer he recieved was a nod from Oshitari, and a wave of his hand. Atobe closed the door behind him, coming face to face with the nurse. "Ah, Sensei, if you could, could you leave them alone until the police arrive? Not so much Hiyoshi, but Oshitari and Mukahi are taking this hard. They care a great deal for him."
The nurse nodded. "I understand. I'll go inform the principal."
As the nurse retreated, Atobe felt a tug on his sleeve. "Atobe?"
Atobe turned to face the tennis club's own narcoleptic blond. "Ah, Jiroh, you're early today."
Jiroh nodded. "I was going to take a quick nap before class, but Ohtori said that Hiyoshi was DYING, so I came as quickly as I could to see what was happening. I heard most of what Honma-Sensei said to the police. Poor Hiyoshi, he never deserved anything like that..."
Atobe sighed. He was going to kill Ohtori, for one. He was sure by now, at the very least, Shishido, Kabaji, and Kantoku must have been thinking that Hiyoshi was dead. Shishido was probably too busy comforting Ohtori over the sudden death of his fellow second year.
"Hiyoshi will be living with me once this is all cleared up. No doubt his uncle will be arrested for statutory rape, and his parents arrested for child endangerment. His brother will probably be arrested for the same thing, being over 18."
"See, that's the problem with these old, branch families. No one dares defy the top, even if it means ruining the life of their child. I hate it. Why can't they see how messed up it is?" Jiroh pouted. "Is Hiyoshi ok, otherwise?"
Atobe nodded. "He seems fine, physically. He's got Oshitari and Mukahi in there with him right now."
"Oh~" Jiroh grinned mischievously. "Really? Hate to say it, but this is their chance."
"Their chance...?" Atobe inquired.
"Yeah, see, I'm a observant observer."
"What else would an observer be?!" Atobe cried. What the hell was Jiroh getting at?
"The both of them have been pining after Hiyoshi for some time now. The two of them already have an established relationship, and are very much in love with each other...however...what would be the problem with adding another person....?"
Atobe's eye's filled with realization. "When did you find out that-" His question was cut off by the realization that Jiroh had
falled asleep right there in the hallway. "Jiroh! Hey! Jiroh! Wake up! Oresama demands you wake up and clue him in! NOW!"
His demands were muffled by Jiroh's loud snores. Sometimes he hated Jiroh.
"He's asleep..." Gakuto said. "Can't say I blame him..."
Yuushi lifted Hiyoshi into his arms and laid the boy back on the bed. "Are you ok, Gakuto?"
"Me...? I-I'm fine, why do you ask?"
"You seem to be taking this hard. Can't say I feel good about any of this, but you seem shaken up..."
"I'll be fine. As long as Hiyoshi is safe now, I think I'll be ok...It just pisses me off."
Yuushi laughed, relieved that Gakuto seemed to be back to normal. The Tensai ran his fingers through
Gakuto's burgandy locks. "It worries me so to see the two of you in such distress. It makes me feel like I can't do anything, and that makes me feel so worthless."
"You're not worthless, Yuushi! If you weren't here I'm sure neither of us could be as strong as we are about this,,,"
Yuushi smiled. "Thank you, Gakuto."
Gakuto placed a hand on his hip, pouting. "I can't believe ATOBE is letting Hiyoshi live with him. We're going to have to
go over there everyday to make sure he treats Hiyoshi right."
"That'll be fun, imposing upon Atobe every evening." Yuushi chuckled. "Gakkun. Are we going to tell Hiyoshi how we feel about him?"
Gakuto looked at Yuushi in suprise. For all his knowledge of romance, all his perversions, and for the whole of his charm, Yuushi was standing there, asking Gakuto how they should proceed. The petite acrobat thought for a moment and shook his head. "If we told Hiyoshi right now
that we're both in love with him, he'll only think that we want to fuck him. We have to ease him into it first..."
"Ah, you mean like I did you?" Yuushi drawled.
"No. We are not pinning him up to a wall, kissing and groping while confessing our love. It worked on me, yes, but I don't think that'll work on Hiyoshi."
Yuushi mock-pouted. "It was worth a shot."
"We should leave...so he can get some rest before the police arrive."
"Right..."
As the two third years left the room, Hiyoshi's eyes shot open, wide with suprise. Not just Mukahi...But Oshitari...they were both in love with him? No...he must have heard it wrong...He MUST have....right?
