"So, Kazuki-kun, now that we've answered the question, it's your turn." Kamakari
Kenta stated, grinning at his co-host. "What are you most grateful for?"
Kato Kazuki thought for a moment, a soft smile coming to his lips. "It's actually
a who."
"Ok, then, WHO are you most grateful for?"
"I suppose I am the most grateful for meeting Aiba Hiroki." Kazuki stated clearly.
Both of his co-hosts looked at him bug-eyed, Kenta promptly face-palming. He could
just hear the fangirls now. Kazuki, however just smiled. It was the truth, and he wasn't going to
deny ever saying it.
...That did not mean, however, that he didn't REGRET saying it. More specifically,
he regretted not explaining it. It wasn't the rumors that bugged him. It was the look on his best
friend's face that afternoon after the broadcast.
"What the hell did THAT mean?" Takuya demanded the moment Kazuki approached
him at their chosen meeting place.
"What did what mean?" Kazuki asked, genuinely confused.
Takuya's pretty face was contorted in anger, eyes glossy with tears. "You know what
I mean. I listened to the broadcast today."
Kazuki smiled. "Really? You listened? I'm flattered!"
"Kazuki, you insensitive jerk!" Takuya cried, drawing almost the entire park's attention
to them. "Do you really like him that much?"
Kazuki ran his fingers through his hair, frustrated. They never fought, ever. He had never seen
Takuya so angry. "Who are you talking about? KenKen? You know we just mess around and
stuff when we're broadcasting."
"Not KenKen!!!" Takuya yelled. "Aiba!!"
"Aiba?!" Kazuki cried. "Where did you get that idea??"
"Your broadcast. You said you were the most grateful for meeting hm..." Takuya sighed,
sitting on the nearest bench. "I didn't know. I take up all your time, and I never even knew..."
He looked up and noticed he was talking to himself. "Kazuki? You bastard!!"
"Sorry." Kazuki popped up behind the upset boy, holding a hotdog. "Here."
Takuya took the hotdog being handed to him, grimacing slightly at how plain it was.
"Kazuki, please just be straight with me. Do you like Aiba?"
Kazuki chuckled softly. 'Sorry, Takuya, but you took that statement all wrong." He smiled,
holding up a package of mayonnaise. He held the package up to his mouth, tearing it open
with his stunning white teeth. As he applied the condiment to Takuya's hotdog, he continued.
"I only meant that I was grateful for meeting Aiba because he's the reason I met you."
Takuya blushed, hastily taking a bite of his hotdog. "Next time, clarify, will ya?"
"Sorry, Sorry." Kazuki grinned sheepishly. 'I'll treat you to dinner as an apology. What
would you like?"
"Cup noodles with mayo." Takuya stated.
"That's it?"
"I want to eat at your place."
"Ah, ok. we'll eat in." Kazuki held out a hand. "Shall we go?"
Takuya took the hand extended to him, following Kazuki to his home.
"Hey, Takuya, what are you most grateful for?"
"Isn't that obvious?" Takuya asked, smiling happily. "Mayo, of course."
Kazuki stared in disbelief as Takuya went ahead of him. "Takuya, are you serious?
Takuya? Takuya?!"
Kenta stated, grinning at his co-host. "What are you most grateful for?"
