Ohayocon 2007 mini report

jailynnWell, another Ohayocon has come and gone (though this year, I found myself wishing it didn't have to end). I have to say that this year had to be the best Ohayocon EVER. This year was the first time, I believe, that I took in the con experience at FULL FORCE. I made friends I didn't want to part from, stayed up all night, and was blinded by many cameras.
On Friday, it seemed, however, this was going to be the worst year ever. The registration line didn't open until after 2 (I think, I'm not sure, cuz I didn't get my badge until after 3:30). But The weekend was set up to suprise me. I was cosplaying as Inui, and I had my Ryoma,lady_jewel
with me. Even as Short-Ass Inui, I got lots of pictures. I believe 3 just within the fisrt half hour of being there. Anyway, The dealer's room stayed open a little later, due to the late start. While musically, the dealer's room's selection was a little biased, I did find lots of Tenipuri goodies. Including a Hyotei poster from Jump Festa 2004 ^_^ Though I found something even better on Saturday. We didn't go to AMVs or Cosplay this year, but that doesn't bug me to least bit. In the artist alley, we metmahoubunnybell , who was working there, and dressed as Oshitari. I believe, at least, I think, that was the first time I was ever groped ^_^ . At 1 am, we went to the yaoi panel, where we met kazayu who agreed to use bits of our costumes to cosplay with us the next day.
On Saturday, I was dressed as Kikumaru, which fits me better (I just had to do Inui once. Cuz I love him.) Andkazayu cosplayed as Oishi. I was so happy! Though at some points, Oishi and Oshitari fought over me. (I like being fought over).. then it was like Oshitari x Oishi x Kikumaru? Or Oshitari x Kikumaru x Oishi? ^_^ (why can't we just all love each other?) My dream was fulfilled and I bought a Golden Pair smut button with Eiji seme ^_^ from Sera, along with numerous others. I was like a walking advertisement. In the dealers room...they had....More than Limit posters! 2 of them. lady_jewel and I bought them both. I can die happy. ^_^. We sat with a doll meet about the time cosplay was starting, and we met Saki, who was dying laughing when we were doing the whole "Katsu no wa Hyotei" thing. She mentioned something like foregoing RikkaiMyu to come to America. o.O She gave us pictures from her cosplay group (she cosplays Ryoma) and wrappers from Shishido's favorite brand of gum (?). Apparently, she's a big fan of Shishido, and is in Kenta Kamakari's fan club. She was so cute. She curled over laughing when Ryoma and I did the whole Gekokujou, hmmm hmm hmm from Dream Live 3rd.
After the Yaoi panels for the night we hung out until around 6 in kazayu's room (cuz someone in out room was being an asshole I f I find out who, they are definatly not invited back). I didn't sleep until I got home yesterday. So Sunday, after throwing up, I didn't feel like cosplaying, so I was in pajama's, and my hair was tossled.lady_jewel and I agreed that I was Takuya-Jiroh (cuz I'm not blond), so I carried around a blanket and my racket. After scouring the dealer's room one last time (where our other new friend Duckie (who is my candy-Jesus and I now <3 ) was feeding me candy to survive on), I pretty much camped out at Sera 's table til it was time to leave. ;_; I already miss my new friends.
Sorry for being incoherent, my mind is muckled from sleep. But this year was the best. I had some much fun (Thanks mostly to my new friends.) And hope to do it again. (As for the bad tag message this thing is giving me...it won't go away I'm sorry)
